The Ríocht grounds are located at Crageens Castleisland and boasts an international standard 400 Meter Tartan Athletics Track with in field Soccer Pitch and a new State of the Art Gym with Spa Facilities.

Two Tone Track Resurfacing“This year is going to be a monumental one for the club as it’s all systems go for the track to get a complete overhaul. All profits raised from this race will be going into the major works being carried out in the track beginning in May. The track will be fully resurfaced and will be Europe’s third dual tone track and Ireland’s first. The total cost of these works are in the region of €135,000 so it will be for the benefit of all athletes in Munster going forward. We will then be able to host events of national and international standard at the grounds.

It’s a very exciting time for the club but also means that a range of fundraising drives will be taking place. One of these is a fundraising gig which will be held in the River Island Hotel on July 22nd and will hopefully bring a great atmosphere to the town,” …An Ríocht AC Manager Kate McSweeney.
